More Love With Handmade Paper Castings
More Love
“How do I love thee…….let me count the ways….”. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life and for the whole month of February I will be creating and sending them cards and notes telling them how I love them. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all did this!

“How do I love thee…….let me count the ways….”. I am so blessed to have so many wonderful people in my life and for the whole month of February I will be creating and sending them cards and notes telling them how I love them. Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we all did this!
Supplies:
• Any of the Arnold Grummer ® paper making kits and paper press
• Blender, strainer, cello sponges and soft towels
• A sunny window
• Scraps of white, and blue paper (think junk mail, etc.)
• Small piece of tissue paper to stamp on
• Small heart with flower paper casting mold
• Impression Obsession™ stamp # 13699
• Beacon ZipDryTM adhesive, double sided foam tape
• ColorBox™ Dyestressable Blendable Ink pad #23105 “Moonstone”,
Archival Ink pad “Midnight” & Stylus handle & tips,
Instructions:
1. Follow the instructions found in any of the Arnold Grummer™ paper making kits to create
light blue slurry. Reserve enough slurry for the heart paper casting.
2. Create one or more sheets of medium weight handmade paper.
3. Use the remainder of the light blue slurry to cast the floral heart.
4. Allow the blue paper and casting to dry.
5. Use the Stylus™ handle and tip to lightly apply Moonstone Dyestressable ink to the edges
of the heart and the flower petals.
6. Tear the sheet of light blue handmade paper in half. Fold to create a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2" card.
7. Use Midnight Archival ink to stamp the saying onto a small piece of tissue paper.
8. When the ink is dry, tear the tissue close to the words.
9. Apply ZipDry adhesive to the back of the stamped tissue and attach it to the center bottom
of the card.
10. Attach the floral heart to the top center of the card with tiny pieces of double sided foam.
11. Add a personal message inside the card.
NOTE: The card is lovely with just the hand cast paper heart. You choose…..smile.
