Handmade Paper Love Notes

Love Notes

I always need thank you cards for different occasions. Creating these with AG templates, some beautiful handmade papers and a set of cherub dies was perfect to use a thank you notes to send to all my loved ones. These are so quick to make by the batch to keep on hand for future use…just vary the die cut to fit the event.

Supplies:

Any of the Arnold Grummer® paper making kits and paper press
Blender,  cello sponges and soft towels
A sunny window
Scraps of white and colored paper (think junk mail, etc.)
Scraps of white card stock and scraps of handmade papers to die cut
AG  #354 Thank You Card Medium Template
Dried flower petals
Crafter’s Companion Gemini Junior™ Die cut machine
Die: Nellie’s Choice Vintasia™ VIND007 Cupids
Beacon ZipDryTM adhesive, double sided foam tape

Instructions:

1. Follow the instructions found in any of the Arnold Grummer™ paper making kits to
create white slurry with flower petal inclusions.
2. Pour the slurry into the template to create several pieces of paper.
3. Allow the paper pieces to dry.
4. *Repeat these 3 steps creating colored slurry.
5. When the papers are dry write your message on one side of the paper.
6. Fold to close it up.
7. Adhere scraps of handmade paper to the scraps of white card stock with ZipDry™
adhesive. (This will make  the handmade paper die cuts stronger.) Allow the adhesive to dry.
8. Die cut the cupids from the scraps.
9. Add tiny pieces of double sided foam to the back of the diecuts.
10. Attach the die cuts to the flaps to seal the note.
