Hello, everyone! It's Nancy here with a new project share, created with wonderful handmade paper! * * * * * My blizzard day stash is almost gone...so I'll have to make some new paper soon! However, when I was looking through what I have left, I came across this pretty purple piece just waiting to be finished! Here's what I made: Here's What I Used: Materials Used: Arnold Grummer's PAPERMILL Complete Papermaking Kit ;   Blender; Folding Heart Card Medium Template ; Stampendous -  Butterfly Trio Stamp Set ; Stampendous - Butterfly Trio Die Set; Inks: Archival Ink - Jet Black; Distress Markers: Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Dusty Concord; Water Brush; Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pen Black Micron Pen. Here's How I did it: 1. I used this fun template to create this card, during my paper-making blitz.  2. Then I pulled out this lovely Butterfly Trio Stamp and Die Set from Stampendous to decorate my card.  3...

My husband and I have been discussing our 25 th anniversary, which occurs next year. We ’ ve been to Germany, France, and some of the surrounding countries but have never been to Italy. So, after very little debate (it is, after all, Europe!), we decided to head there. One of the greatest challenges for me when traveling is that I cannot carry my entire workshop with me. It is really hard to decide which art supplies to bring. I know that when I travel to Italy, I will want to carry something with me to create with. I could certainly bring an art journal, but I am thinking about how cumbersome that could be unless the art journal were much smaller. I also have to be truthful to myself about just how much time I really will have to create. Keeping both of those in mind, I decided that I could carry several mini journals — about four or five — and create a memento of my time in Italy. This is how the Tiny Traveling Journal was born! Hello, everyone! It's Nancy here with a card I created with some handmade paper. I thought this paper turned out so fun and festive, that I just had to turn it into a special "CELEBRATE" card! Materials Used: Arnold Grummer's PAPERMILL Complete Papermaking Kit ;   Blender; Packing Paper; Red Crinkle Basket Filler; Red Cardstock; Ribbon: Offray - Red Satin; Alphabet Dies: Little B - Block Out. How I did it: During a recent marathon day of paper-making, I made some plain pages using the packing paper that came in a parcel. I then experimented with adding some crinkled strips of basket filler. With one page I cut the filler up, and with one page I kept the filler in the original long pieces. Hello, everyone! It's Nancy Nickel here today. I'm very happy to be sharing my first Design Team project with you! I love to use handmade paper to create books. I just love the way they feel in my hands. Sometimes I even like them to serve a purpose. Such is the case with the project I'm sharing today. This is my Quote Book: Materials Used: Arnold Grummer's PAPERMILL Complete Papermaking Kit ; Iridescent Flakes ; Zig-Zag Books: Original ; Blender, Dies: Tim Holtz - Alphaneumeric, Spellbinders - Romantic Rectangles Two; Small piece of Silver Velum; Glue Stick; Double-sided Tape; 1 yard Sheer Ribbon. How I did it: I followed all the directions in the PAPERMILL Papermaking Kit to make my paper. I recycled a newsletter, and it created this beautiful color of handmade paper. It’s that time of the year when people’s attention is focused on the holiday ritual of gift-giving.  I actually started making my Botanical Sticky Note Books back in July, mainly because my paper making studio  aka my garage is not heated, so all my paper making is done during the summer.  And if you want a great gift to give to someone or even to gift yourself then purchase an  Arnold Grummer  Papermaking kit . I used Arnold Grummer's  Angel Wings: Multi Color Mix  to create my botanical paper for my  Sticky Note books.   I love the bright colors which won't fade and the fact that the Angel Wings tear into long thin strips and will give a mulberry type paper effect. I love the different effects you can achieve by varying the amount of botanicals that you add for each batch of sheets in the blender.  If this was to be used as stationery then I would have used less and blended more but I kn...
