Supplies: Any of the Arnold Grummer™ paper making kits A sunny window Blender, cello sponges and soft towels Scraps of beige, tan, ivory paper (think junk mail, etc.) Magazine page of your choice with torn edges Beacon ZipDry™ Adhesive Matt board Optional: glass and frame with room for spacers – or perhaps a tabletop easel Instructions: Follow the directions found in any of the Arnold Grummer™ paper making kits to create light tan slurry.  Create a sheet of heavy weight paper. Hey, hey good people!!  I am Tamiko and I am one of the newest members of the Arnold Grummer Design Team!  I am so excited to get the opportunity to learn, create and share this experience with you!!  I cannot tell you how many times I have received paper crafted goods and I have unintentionally dissected it to figure out where certain parts of the item came from.  The most recognizable thing to me is paper!  Guess who won't have that problem anytime soon?!?! ::giggles::  I am more than excited!! OK.. Let's get on to today's project!! Today's project was experimental for me!  I love to make books, but I never finish them to give-a-way!  Give mom this handmade album this May and make her day extra special.  The handmade paper has been made even more unique with a chocolate scent.  What mom doesn't love a handmade gift and chocolates?      Begin by making 2 different colors of paper using one of the  Papermill kits  according to the instructions.  For the front and back covers of the book, I mixed a pink and purple pulp together that had been dyed using some of the  Tissue Tints .   After pouring the pulp into the deckle, I added some ground cacao nibs to the mixture to give it a chocolate scent.  You can also use cocoa powder to add to it.  When ironing, place a paper towel over the sheet of paper so that the chocolate is not in direct contact with the heat.  Use a cooler setting on the iron when ironing it.  It just needs to be warm enough to lay the sheet flat.       The second she...

Hello! My name is Peggy and I would like to show you my lantern made from handmade paper. The tools used today were: Arnold Grummer's Paper Making Kit Sticks from my morning walk Glue Gun and Glue Sticks Light Source I started with making my paper, this kit has all, pulp and botanicals. I recycled my trash paper and made beautiful sheets with flowers. I followed the directions of Arnold Grummer Here .   I used hot glue and sticks to make a square like base and took more sticks to create a teepee shape. I placed the hand made sheets behind the sticks in the corners and glued them against the sticks. Not a very clear picture but here you can see the top.  And here is my light source that I will be switching out for electric.  Thanks for joining me today!
