Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a new project using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit .  Using  one of the Arnold Grummer's Papermaking Kits , I created an assortment of handmade papers. Once the papers completely dried, I chose one to create with and cut it to 4" x 5 1/4".  I taped the  Bare Trees Meal Stencil from Stampendous on my handmade paper.  Using a pallet knife I  added modeling paste over the stencil. Carefully removing the tape, I removed the stencil while still wet.  I quickly rinsed off the stencil to remove any trace of the modeling paste. While still wet, I poured Stampendous Twinkle Glitter across the tree tops and put it aside to dry. For a touch of color, I spritzed Bamboo Leaves Fireworks! The busy season is upon us! Many of us have social events galore to attend; birthday parties, graduation, weddings, BBQs, house-warming and "just because". Take advantage of the weather and party on! I made this standard sized A4 card with 1/2 sheets and scraps on the "fly" for one of these such gatherings. SUPPLIES: AG Paper-making kit AG Cotton Linter AG Sparkles, Metal & Micas AG Botanicals OTHER: green heart mini-brads, white acrylic paint, Green ink (Chartreuse leaf Ranger Ink), Metalic foil hinge sticker (Stylines by Artquest) Rub-on Words (Scenic Route), 2 small lt blue mini-brads, ribbon. INSTRUCTIONS: 1. Cut background paper to A4 size. 2. Cut 1/2" strips of green paper to form a frame, glue in place. Add a heart mini-brad to each corner. 3. Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a new project using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit .  It's so easy to make your own paper.  Use a variety of papers to create amazing one of a kind designs.  Use the Large Envelope Template to create the envelope.  Using the ScorPal you can create the fold lines for the perfect envelope! Using Stampendous Spring Border Cutting Dies , die cut the edges for a nice scalloped effect.  Handmade papers die cut easily in one pass! Using additional handmade papers, die cut assorted panels for the card and envelope. Use the Stampendous Giraffe Stamp and Die set with Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp the phrases. My husband and I have been discussing our 25 th anniversary, which occurs next year. We ’ ve been to Germany, France, and some of the surrounding countries but have never been to Italy. So, after very little debate (it is, after all, Europe!), we decided to head there. One of the greatest challenges for me when traveling is that I cannot carry my entire workshop with me. It is really hard to decide which art supplies to bring. I know that when I travel to Italy, I will want to carry something with me to create with. I could certainly bring an art journal, but I am thinking about how cumbersome that could be unless the art journal were much smaller. I also have to be truthful to myself about just how much time I really will have to create. Keeping both of those in mind, I decided that I could carry several mini journals — about four or five — and create a memento of my time in Italy. This is how the Tiny Traveling Journal was born! Things are getting hectic as Spring arrives; graduation parties, spring cleaning, outdoor socials and more! This week I was grateful to have a large stash of hand made papers already on hand to make this quick and easy "Congratulations" Card for a graduate. SUPPLIES: AG Papermill Kit AG Additives Corner rounding punch, rhinestone flourish, fern rubber stamp,  Green ink (Bottle-Ranger Ink) 3-d Butterfly sticker, markers, PC to print sentiment INSTRUCTIONS:  1. Select coordinating papers that work well together. 2. Print the sentiment on your PC, or use a rubber stamped sentiment. Trim to size and round the corner and adhere to the background. 3. Stamp ferns onto green paper, accent with light and dark green markers.  Trim the shape and adhere to the background paper. 4. Hello, everyone! It's Nancy here with a fun new card, created with some great handmade paper. Can you tell what I used to create my paper this time? Does my card theme give you a hint? Materials Used: Arnold Grummer's PAPERMILL Complete Papermaking Kit ;   Blender; Sewing Pattern Tissue; Stampendous - Build a Wreath Die Set - Generously provided by Stampendous Black Cardstock; Sewing Themed Stamps from Stampin' Up and Close to My Heart; Memento - Tuxedo Black Ink; Piercing Tool and Mat; Sewing Needle; DMC - Black Embroidery Floss; Small Piece of Black Ribbon. How I did it: As you've probably guessed, I created my paper using sewing pattern tissue. It makes a wonderful handmade paper, with a completely different texture than the other papers I have made. It has a smoother finish, and a crisper texture.  I used a metal ruler to tear the paper down to a rectangle, sized to fit inside an A2 size card front. It left a lovely soft...

Make sheets of hand made paper following the instructions in the Hand Made Paper Kit. I always add some additive and cotton linter for stronger sheets. The botanicals are pretty too! 2. Use the duck tape binding method on the "Make your own book" kit instructions.  3. Cut hand made paper to cover the cardstock cover provided in the book kit.  4. Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with fall cards using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit . Did you know you can add items to the pulp to create an assortment of different papers?  Once I had the pulp ready, I added a sprinkling of botanicals.   But I could also have added leaves, angel wings or rosebuds or even mica flakes for different effects.  Once you pour out the pulp, just swirl the botanicals (or other items) so they spread around the paper. Using a punch, I punched several leaves from my paper. Next, I stamped and embossed on my paper.  Your paper can be stamped and heat embossed for amazing effects. I created a 5 1/2" square card, then cut the handmade paper to fit.  Then I added the elements and used mini paper clips to clip the punched leaves to the card.
