© Michele Emerson-Robert 2016 “Stocking stuffer,” gift and cards are a snap with small pieces of handmade paper, some chip board and a couple of die cuts. Wings of Angels

© Michele Emerson-Robert 2016 Both of my sisters collect Angels and Penguins. I know, I know - two so totally different things (just like they are). I try to add to both of their collection every year. These two Angel pieces can be left out all year, and will be perfect to place in a small decorative easel. Who knows, perhaps I will also find new Penguins for them too. Supplies ·        Any of the Arnold Grummer® paper making kits ·        Blender, cello sponges and soft towels ·        A sunny window ·        Scraps of off white paper (think junk mail, etc.) ·        Dried grasses or herbs ·        Scraps of Kraft colored chip board to die cut (I used the back of cereal boxes) ·        Scraps of tissue paper to stamp on ·    ...

Winter Peace

© Michele Emerson-Robert 2016 I create paper castings all through the year so that I will have them on hand when I need a quick card or gift. Doing them by the batch saves me a lot of time and mess. Sometimes I add stitching and/or tiny beads like I did on the snowman. Because I had the casting made ahead of time, these two Christmas cards took less than 5 minutes each to put together - less time than it will take me to write the message inside.   Supplies ·        Any of the Arnold Grummer® paper making kits ·        Blender, strainer, cello sponges and soft towels ·        A sunny window ·        Scraps of white paper (think junk mail, etc.) ·        AGCP Snowman mold, Acrylic ornament Angel to use as a mold ·        Scraps of white card stock to die cut ·   ...

Earth’s Song

© Michele Emerson-Robert 2016 Fall is the beginning of the time of rest for the plants and animals, yes even us humans. Some people think the plants have died….I think they are resting so that they will be ready to bloom again in the spring!  This is the time of year that I want to curl up with a good book and a cup of hot tea and just “be”. Below are a few more of the November cards celebrating this quiet time.
