Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here with a new set of Christmas Shaker cards using Arnold Grummer Papermaking kits. I've used left over papers from other projects.  For each card, I used the remaining die cut panels and frayed the edges. I adhered a plastic sheet to each panel, and  Using my MISTI, I stamped phrases in the lower corner with StazOn ink.  Using the MISTI ensured that if I had to restamp the phrase that it would line up correctly. I placed foam tape around the panels and placed dew drops in the cavities before adhering the backing. Finally I added flowers and leaves to the corners. Thanks for stopping by. Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sharing Christmas Tags using handmade papers. Cut handmade papers into 3" x 8" panels.  Emboss each with an embossing folder, then run assorted colors of VersaFine Clair inkpads across each. Wrap velvet ribbon around each tag.  Die cut scalloped panels and adhere to each tag.  Die cut scalloped ovals, ink the edges and place on top of the scalloped panels with foam adhesives for dimension. Stamp phrases on a smaller oval in black ink and adhere to the tags.  Finally, staple ribbons to each tag and attach to your Christmas packages. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sharing a new winged card using handmade papers. Using some premade papers, I selected 3 different colors - pink, purple, and red. The wings are so delicate and I die cut them from a purple paper. The hearts were die cut from pink paper. Using VersaFine Clair Inks and an art dauber, I added color to the images. A purple panel was also die cut and lightly inked.  It was placed atop white cardstock, then again on lavender and white panels before being added to a purple card. The pink center panel was also die cut then added to the card with foam adhesives for dimension.  The wings and heart were added on top. The phrase was stamped and die cut from red paper, then added slightly under the right wing. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here to show you just how easy it is to create amazing cards using assorted papers created with the papermaking kits. You can stamp and die cut your handmade papers just as easily as any other types of papers.   Using VersaFine black ink I stamped the images and then heat set them.  Then I used the coordinating dies to die cut the design. Using a different die, I die cut another handmade paper - look at all those details. I chose another paper for the background of my cards, then assembled the cards using Scor-Tape. I used Glue Dots to adhere the center elements to the cards to give them a little dimension.  Thanks for stopping by.

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a new project using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit .  It's so easy to make your own paper.  Use a variety of papers to create amazing one of a kind designs.  Use the Large Envelope Template to create the envelope.  Using the ScorPal you can create the fold lines for the perfect envelope! Using Stampendous Spring Border Cutting Dies , die cut the edges for a nice scalloped effect.  Handmade papers die cut easily in one pass! Using additional handmade papers, die cut assorted panels for the card and envelope. Use the Stampendous Giraffe Stamp and Die set with Versafine Onyx Black ink to stamp the phrases. Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a set of tags using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit .  I recently created an assortment of handmade papers using one of the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kits .  Each kit makes different sized papers.  With the variety of papers I had previously made, I selected 3 papers from which I could create my tags. I selected 3 papers - one with shades of purple, one with touches of blue and one with flecks of green.  Next, I selected corresponding inks and inked the edges of the tags.  Then I used a script stamp to create texture on each tag with the same inks. A phrase was stamped with black ink and then die cut.  After matting it with a scalloped circle, the phrase was added to the tag.  Dew drops were adhered to the bottom of the tag and twine inserted at the top. Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with a butterfly canvas using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit . Using a 5" x 7" canvas, spritz top 2/3 with several colors of Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists. Using hand made papers, die cut butterflies and their shadows from the assorted handmade papers.  Assemble the butterflies. Use molding paste randomly through a brick stencil.  Allow to dry.  Ink the edges of the butterflies in assorted colors and place them about the canvas. Add dew drops on the butterflies.  Add more dew drops for the butterfly tails. Using a left over scrap of hand made paper, stamp the phrase in black ink.  Tear around the phrase and ink the edges before adding it amongst the butterflies. Thanks for stopping by. Steph

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with die cut Valentine's Day Cards using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit . Are you aware how easy it is to create handmade paper?  It's even easier to die cut the papers into a variety of shapes. Selecting papers from my stash of handmade papers, I couldn't find any that were pink enough for Valentine's Day.  Easy enough to remedy though - I just spritzed the paper with Imagine's Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Spray in Angel Pink.  Let the paper dry thoroughly. Create cards from brown cardstock.  Die cut 2 layers of handmade papers.  Adhere the larger layers to the cards then wrap the cards with twine.  Mat the smaller layers with brown cardstock, then add to the cards with foam adhesives for dimension. Die cut hearts from the same paper, then die cut the centers.  Adhere the large hearts to the right corners of each card.  Take the smaller hearts and add...
