Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with die cut Valentine's Day Cards using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit . Are you aware how easy it is to create handmade paper?  It's even easier to die cut the papers into a variety of shapes. Selecting papers from my stash of handmade papers, I couldn't find any that were pink enough for Valentine's Day.  Easy enough to remedy though - I just spritzed the paper with Imagine's Fireworks! Shimmery Craft Spray in Angel Pink.  Let the paper dry thoroughly. Create cards from brown cardstock.  Die cut 2 layers of handmade papers.  Adhere the larger layers to the cards then wrap the cards with twine.  Mat the smaller layers with brown cardstock, then add to the cards with foam adhesives for dimension. Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today with Christmas cards using handmade papers created with the Arnold Grummer Papermaking Kit . If you are like me, you've got a stack of handmade papers just waiting to be used.  With Christmas on the horizon, I selected papers with pink and green tones for my cards. Cut handmade paper to fit an embossing folder, then run through an embossing machine. Add color to the embossed design using assorted colors of inks. Mat the embossed panel with cardstock and place on a green card, then tear a strip of paper and add it across the card. Die cut a wreath and, while still in the die, ink it up. This gives part of the design more color. Die cut a large ornament shape from handmade paper and place the wreath over a stamped phrase in the center of the ornament.  Add dew drops around the wreath. SCRAPBOOKING THANKFUL MEMORIES It's the memories we are most thankful for... I've enjoyed scrapbooking for many years. This is a 12x12 scrapbook page of a previous Thanksgiving Dinner. (apologies for the very large candle on the table, made for a bad photo :o) Paper piecing is so fun and it uses up lots of scraps.  Although, when I make a batch of pulp for a specific project, I always have extra to play around with. Many batches offer extra full sheets in addition to casting a few shapes in molds. Make sure you have all the supplies for paper casting to add to pulp to help achieve the best success. Here is how I made a bracelet using handmade paper. I’ve always wanted to make paper bracelets that would last. The texture of the paper was so luscious that I knew I wanted to feature it. Have you ever thought about making your own paper?  Something that is so unique to you?  It's a little time consuming, but the results are so worth it.  Steph Ackerman here today to show you that it is a lot easier than you think!  . Using several handmade papers, I created this card. Using the Large Pour Handmold , follow the directions to assemble.  Tear papers and add into a blender with 2 cups of water.  Once the paper has been blended, pour into the mold.  Follow the directions to create the paper then let the paper dry completely.  These are my results.  While my papers had some little "flaws", there were still perfect for my project. I used the pink paper for the carnation and the gray/green paper for the leaves.  Using Imagine Brilliance Ink in Pearlescent Orchid, I stamped the carnations on the pink paper. Hello everyone, I hope all enjoyed their weekend. I know I did because I had it off work :). Today I am showing you a small flower pot I made and put a tiny off spring of a cactus I have that fell off into it. This will be perfect because you don't water cactus like you do normal plants. I pressed paper pulp into a small pot I had and let it dry. I then coated the outside with a layer of glue to make it stronger. Then made a bow out of a paper strip and added a small gem to it then added cactus potting soil to it and planted my mini cactus. It is so cute and just the right size for propaganding an off shoot. Happy Monday everyone. I know, not everyone likes Mondays because it is the start of another work week (If you work outside the home). Today I made a card for my daughters upcoming birthday, her favorite color is purple but I went with whimsy. She will love it anyway LOL I first started out gathering junk mail and old receipts that I no longer need to keep and tore them up, added them to water in the blender and blended away. Now when making your own paper, you can use almost any paper you choose you can also use wrapping paper, tissue paper and just any old junk mail that has lots of color on it and you will have paper pulp with color. How cool is that! I tear up old bills and checks and such and use that to make paper, it is a great way to keep thiefs from getting personal info of yours LOL Any way, after letting the paper dry, I don't always iron my paper, I cut it to the size of a card I wanted to make and worked away. Supplies: Arnold Grummer Paper Making kit Handmade paper 2 inches by 7 inches Bone folder, scissors and ruler  The handmade paper I used - from a 5 by 7 inch screen - I cut off the lovely deckle edges since the Kimono looks better with straight edges and is enough for two Kimonos. Fold top 1/4 inch and fold over again - this is the start of the all important collar. The middle of the top - where you folded - is 1 inch and fold down from this mid point to make the collar. 3.    Measure 2 1/4 inches from the top and fold back. 4.   Measure 4 3/4 inches from the top and fold back again as in photo. 5.
