Hello, everyone! It's Nancy here with a festive new project share! I have done my first paper casting! Was it ever FUN, and I'm afraid it's just as addicting as paper making!  ;o) Here's my card for today: My friend Michele was so helpful in getting me started. She sent me some fun molds. I was also generously provided with some great Paper Casting Stamps from   Rycraft ! Look at the stash of casting pieces I made: Materials Used in My Project: Arnold Grummer -  White Cotton Linter ; Blender; Rycraft Paper Casting Stamp -  Christmas Candle ; Imagine Crafts Ink: Memento - Dandelion, Pear Tart, Red, and Fantastix; Papers: Recollections - Cardstock, My Mind's Eye - Wonderful Winter; Ribbon: Celebrate It; Stickles: Star Dust. 1. I began by doing all the fun casting. The one 8 oz bag of Cotton Linter was enough to make all of these pieces. I simply added a handful of Linter to the blender with some water, and blended. ...

Christmas Tags

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here sharing Christmas Tags using handmade papers. Cut handmade papers into 3" x 8" panels.  Emboss each with an embossing folder, then run assorted colors of VersaFine Clair inkpads across each. Wrap velvet ribbon around each tag.  Die cut scalloped panels and adhere to each tag.  Die cut scalloped ovals, ink the edges and place on top of the scalloped panels with foam adhesives for dimension. Stamp phrases on a smaller oval in black ink and adhere to the tags.  Finally, staple ribbons to each tag and attach to your Christmas packages. Thanks for stopping by.

Wings of Angels

© Michele Emerson-Robert 2016 Both of my sisters collect Angels and Penguins. I know, I know - two so totally different things (just like they are). I try to add to both of their collection every year. These two Angel pieces can be left out all year, and will be perfect to place in a small decorative easel. Who knows, perhaps I will also find new Penguins for them too. Supplies ·        Any of the Arnold Grummer® paper making kits ·        Blender, cello sponges and soft towels ·        A sunny window ·        Scraps of off white paper (think junk mail, etc.) ·        Dried grasses or herbs ·        Scraps of Kraft colored chip board to die cut (I used the back of cereal boxes) ·        Scraps of tissue paper to stamp on ·    ...

Winter Peace

© Michele Emerson-Robert 2016 I create paper castings all through the year so that I will have them on hand when I need a quick card or gift. Doing them by the batch saves me a lot of time and mess. Sometimes I add stitching and/or tiny beads like I did on the snowman. Because I had the casting made ahead of time, these two Christmas cards took less than 5 minutes each to put together - less time than it will take me to write the message inside.   Supplies ·        Any of the Arnold Grummer® paper making kits ·        Blender, strainer, cello sponges and soft towels ·        A sunny window ·        Scraps of white paper (think junk mail, etc.) ·        AGCP Snowman mold, Acrylic ornament Angel to use as a mold ·        Scraps of white card stock to die cut ·   ...

Handmade Paper Christmas Poinsettia

Image
Hi, Ann here today, with a paper poinsettia that you can make for your Holiday Decorations.  Here it is: To begin make several sheets of handmade paper in the Arnold Grummer Paper Making Method using the Arno;ld Grummer Paper Making system.  To make these sheets I used recycled wrapping papers, some tinsel, and some envelopes. To make the petals and centre of the flower a steel metal die was used to speed up the process. Following the cutting of the flower parts, cut a big circle out of some cardboard. Add some glue to the circle.  Begin laying the larger petals around the circle.  For the next layer add some more glue and repeat.  The centre is made by layering two different coloured enters over one another.  The stamens are represented with some clear dimensional glue and glass beads. Finally to use this poinsettia as a tree ornament, glue to the back of a large clothes pin. I hope that you enjoy recycling papers ...
