You're the Best Thing Ever

I like to save paper scraps including those from my handmade papers. I grabbed some of those to complete this little project. A friend is changing jobs and she is beyond excited, nervous, and scared. I wanted to make her a little something to sit on her desk and remind her why the new company chose her.

Here are my scraps

which were all made by using the Pour Handmold

Medium Pour Handmold Contents

I started with a small framed easel. I stained it and added a scrap of text scrapbook paper.

Grabbing my scraps, I cut the banner, hearts and stamped the girl.

I used Koi Watercolor brushes to paint the papers.

The quote is from a set of coloring pages.

Once assembled,  this is how it looks.

I love saving and using scraps because they are perfect for projects like this!

I hope you are having fun making paper and using them for projects. As you can see, this kind of paper is for more than just cards!
