Happy 4th of July
Good Morning and Happy 4th of July to those of you in the United States!
Jean here, and for the first time in probably 16 years, we will not be celebrating the 4th at the cottage with my family. All of the 4th festivities will be today, Monday, and my husband has to teach here at home at 7:30 am Tuesday morning. So instead of being with my sisters and mom, I made a few cards to send to them.
,
Once again I went to my recycle bin and pulled out red, white and blue scraps! My red paper did not turn out red enough so I put a light wash of watercolor on it.
For the first card, I drew fireworks with Helmar Tacky Craft Glue and sprinkled with glitter. I just love the sparkle!
The second card has a ray pattern with die cut stars. This was mounted on a white piece of paper which was secured to the blue card base.
It is so much fun using recycled paper including envelopes, copy paper, junk mail into new cards!
