"More...Tea Time with the Fairies"

The last batch of invitations for the Tea Party are finished and ready to go out. Love the vibrant colors! Since I always make more backgrounds I have lots of papers to use in creating future projects. These were such fun to create, I will be doing more!

Supplies:

Any of the Arnold Grummer® paper making kits
Blender,  cello sponges and soft towels
A sunny window
Scraps of white paper (think junk mail, etc.)
Crafter’s Companion Gemini Jr. ™ die cut machine
DIES: Joy: “Fairies” # 6002/1069, Mariann: LR0513 Dandelion , “ Fabulous”,
        MemoryBox: large sitting Fairy
Black cardstock: 4 ¼ x 5 ½” folded and small/medium scraps to layer and/or die cut
Stamp:  Visible Image “Make a Wish”
Scor-Pal™
Beacon ZipDryTM adhesive
Double sided foam
ColorBox™ Dystress Blendable Ink pads: Pansy #23107, Posey #23100, Scuba #23106,
        Capri #23116 & Black Pigment ink pad for stamping verbiage
Small spray/mister bottle and water
Waterproof surface to work on

Instructions:

1. Follow the instructions found in any of the Arnold Grummer™ paper making kits to
        create white slurry and create one or more sheets of handmade paper.
2. Allow the paper to dry.
3. Cut or tear the sheets of handmade paper into approx. quarters…(4 x 5 ¼”)
4. Tap the ink pads onto the waterproof surface, overlap some of the colors. 
        Vary the amount of ink and colors. *Repeat this step as needed.
5. Mist with water.
6. Lightly tap the handmade paper into the inks.
7. Set the inked papers aside to dry.
8. Die cut the Fairies and the Dandelions from the black scraps.
9. Score and fold the black cardstock to create 4 ¼ x 5 1/5” cards.
10. Attach the inked handmade paper pieces to the front of the folded cards.
11. Attach the die cut words “Fabulous” to the lower right side of two of the cards with
        ZipDry™ adhesive.
12. Attach the large sitting Fairy with tiny pieces of double sided foam to the left side of
        one of the cards.
13. Attach the medium  Fairy to the upper left and the Dandelion to the center of the card
        with tiny pieces of double sided foam.
14. Stamp the verbiage with black pigment ink onto a scrap of inked handmade paper.
15. Cut a scrap of black cardstock 1/8’ larger than the stamped verbiage.
16. Layer and attach the stamped verbiage to the scrap of black card stock with ZipDry™ adhesive. 17. Attach a Dandelion to the center of the card with tiny pieces of double sided foam.
18. Attach the stamped and layered piece over the Dandelion  to the center bottom of the card
       with tiny pieces of double sided foam..
19. Attach the small Fairy to the top right of the card with tiny pieces of double sided foam.
