Vacation paper!

Hi everyone, I just got back from vacationing down in Florida's Panhandle and although the weather wasn't the best, we fared better than many of my southern friends. Sending my thoughts and prayers to all suffering through the floods.

Today's post will be short and sweet, I have a video slide show to share with you starring Carly and Gavin, two awesome kids who helped me make some paper down along the beach.

Yes, you can take your paper making kits along with you and have a paper making adventure!

Enjoy the slideshow :)
During my adventure I couldn't help but think of Arnold Grummer and his Great American Paper Making Machine...
Arnold Grummer started a traveling live exhibit, “The Great American Paper Machine.” His extensive list of presentations includes six appearances at the Smithsonian Institutions, ten consecutive years at the Chicago Museum of Science & Industry, and twenty consecutive years at the Great Lakes Logging Congress.

  5. How wonderful for you to share this experience with Carly and Gavin. They looked like perfect students and with each slide you could see Carly's enthusiasm... and even a prideful smile. Looks like a fun day in a beautiful location. Leave it to you to take your AG supplies. Very cool, but I forget everything when I travel. Sorry you didn't have perfect weather, but it sure looks like you and Anna had a great time. How wonderful to meet each other in person!

  7. What an awesome little video such fun to see you share your love of paper making with the children they looked like they loved. So glad you and Anna got to get together and what fun to do it all on the beach like that. Adding those little touches to your paper make it that much more special. What wonderful memories to make.
